THE 4 AREAS OF DENTAL HYGIENE
There are 4 areas of disinfection inside a dental surgery, all colour coded for easy identification.

• Blue – For Instruments Disinfectants
All instruments used are carefully disinfected and cleaned. The products have been tested on a wide variety of materials for product compatibility, whether used in the I‐DIS disinfection box, the bur bath, ultrasonic bath or in a combination with autoclaves.
• Yellow – For Special Areas Disinfectants
In order to properly care for your suction system, amalgam separator, vacuum tubing devices as well as impressions in the practice, we offer you a complete and user friendly range of disinfection, cleaning and care products based on the Daily and Weekly cleaning and disinfection of all wet, dry or semi wet/dry systems.

• Green – For Surfaces Disinfectants
Due to patient traffic and the constant contact with contaminated objects, all equipment i.e. surfaces, chairs, fixtures and fittings need to be disinfected each and every time between treatments. The advantages of the Bossklein Range of hard surface disinfectants, wipes and spray alike, are the short reaction times, the thorough cleaning action and the compatibility with a wide range of surfaces.
• Pink – For Skin & Hands
Disinfecting hands and gloves to prevent infection is extremely important. Bossklein range incorporates both surgical hand scrub and alcohol gel/rub products, all of which contain humectants and skin softeners in order to maintain the integrity of the skin. All available products can also be used safely on gloved hands.
 
Universal Handpiece
Oil Lubricant Spray



   All purpose Hand Piece Lubricant Spray for maintenance
of all dental handpieces including high speed, slow speed
and air motors.


Key Product Features


Highly effective lubrication for all high and slow speed dental rotary handpieces. Complex oil with silicone and anti-rust inhibitors. Anti-rusting agent prevents microrust on inner bearings. High penetrative ability to ensure thorough coating of bearing surface. Each can contains a high volume pressure to provide maximum bearing rotation during oiling. High internal pressure of 70+Psi
(4.8atm) at 20°C. Cans are to UN specification and both sizes
are compatible with Kavo, W&H, Bien Air etc. Oil nozzles.

Product Composition


White mineral oil, contains trace of peppermint oil.


Directions for use


Insert into back of handpiece and spray through for one
to two seconds immediately after each use and before
sterilisation. Wipe excess thoroughly. Important: Hold can
in a vertical position when in use. Refer to handpiece maintenance instructions where applicable.

peppermint aroma, shelf life of 3 years.

Disinfectant Wipes

   For the surface disinfection of non-invasive medical devices.

Key Product Features


Effective against a wide spectrum of organisms (see table). Tubs contain wipes in poly-sealed bags. Wipe size 180 x 125 mm. and size 200 x 200 mm.Available in lemon, natural, dentomint and mango fragrances.

Directions for use


Using a new wipe for each application, wipe objects to be disinfected so that they are completely moistened and let the disinfectant take action over a period of 30 seconds, allowing surface moisture to evaporate.


Composition


Concentrate solution contains amongst other ingredients: Ethanol, Propan-2-ol, Polymeric biguanide hydrochloride, Disinfectants, Parfum, Linalool, Limonene

Physical Properties


PolyViscose Substrate impregnated with clear liquid. Colour white. Odour dependant on aroma (see above). pH 7.0-8.0 of solution with a shelf life of 3 years.

Tested to standards BS EN14476, BS EN13727, BS EN14204, BS EN13704, BS EN13624. Also tested to DGHM guidelines.

Alcohol Based Surface Disinfectant Spray




   For the surface disinfectant of non-invasive medical devices.

Key Product Features


Bossklein Surface Disinfectant Spray has been specially formulated for use in the Medical and Dental environment. The spray is effective against a wide spectrum of organisms (see table). Available in lemon, natural, dentomint and mango fragrances

Directions for use


Spray surfaces and objects to be disinfected from a distance of approx. 30 cm so that they are completely moistened and let the disinfectant take action over a period of 30 seconds. Allow surface spray to evaporate or wipe with a clean tissue or surface wipe.

Composition


Contains amongst other ingredients: Ethanol, Propan-2-ol, Polymeric biguanide hydrochloride, Disinfectants, Parfum, Linalool, Limonene

Physical Properties


Clear liquid, odour dependant on aroma (see above), pH 7.0-8.0. Flash point 18.7°C, highly flammable. Shelf life of 3 years.

Directions for use


Using a new wipe for each application, wipe objects to be disinfected so that they are completely moistened and let the disinfectant take action over a period of 30 seconds, allowing surface moisture to evaporate. Wipe with clean tissue if necessary.

Composition

Daily Aspirator Cleaner
and Disinfectant Concentrate

For the Daily cleaning and maintenance of Dental Aspirator Systems. Can be used on wet line, dry line and semi wet/dry
line suction systems.

 

Key Product Features


Highly effective cleaning and disinfecting product. Also used for effective cleaning of the spittoon bowl. Non-foaming and non-abrasive aldehyde, chlorinne and penol free solution. Easy to use and measure. Colour coded. Effective against a wide spectrum of organisms. (see table). Alkaline based for removal of Daily deposits.

Directions for use


Dispense 5% solution: 50ml Daily concentrate to 950ml warm water. Aspirate via the high and low volume suction tubes and also dispense into the spittoon bowl. Leave for a minimum of 10 minutes in order to activate the working properties and then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Composition


Contains amongst other ingredients: Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, less than 5% nonionic surfactant, EDTA, Disinfectants.

Physical Properties


Blue liquid, Odour characteristic, pH 10.0-11.0. Soluble in water, non-flammable with a shelf life of 3 years.
